Discovered in 1957, Toma Limestone Cavern is a calcareous cave with a total length of 135m. The cavern’s stalactites formed over 150 million years and they are characterized by their high transparency, containing only a small amount of impurities. The world’s invaluable straw-like stalactites can also be observed here.
Inside is cool even in the midst of summer and much effort is devoted to make the cavern more interesting for the tourists with effects such as mysterious lightings. It is also a popular site as a power spot for its association with the legend of the dragon god that is handed down in the area.(Open: late April － October)
