Approximately 250km in total length, “Hokkaido Garden Pass” connects landscapes distinctive to Hokkaido and eight attractive tourist gardens found in Daisetsu, Furano and Tokachi. One of these gardens is “Shichiku Garden”. In the garden with a total area of 50,000 square meters grow approximately 2,500 species of flora and some of Hokkaido’s miscellaneous trees including Japanese white birch and Japanese big leaf magnolia.
The garden is divided into more than 10 areas including “Flower Pass” where a myriad of seasonal flowers are blossoming, “White Garden” where only plants that bear white flowers are planted and “Perennial Border Garden” which continues for 150 meters from the forest.
Shichiku Garden has a restaurant and its popular menu is its breakfast set and boxed-meals that you can eat in the garden while feeling the refreshing morning breeze.
