The springtime at Urausu Shrine (which has a history spanning more than a hundred years) brings a ton of flowers in blue and pink colors. From late April to early May, you’ll find Corydalis ambigua flowers blooming in a light blue color and pink dogtooth violets. It’s a popular spot to see wild animals (such as wild birds and squirrels) showing their content amongst the flowers.
Parking at the adjacent Urausu-Ikoi-no-Mori or Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Rest Areas) “Tsurunuma” parking lots is convenient when visiting Urausu Shrine.
